The Graceton to Manor Reliability Upgrade project focuses on the partial rebuild of the existing electrical transmission line that runs from the Graceton Substation to the Pennsylvania/Maryland state line in Northern Harford County. This project consists of the demolition of eight steel tower structures and construction of nine new steel poles. A single circuit will be installed initially, leaving space for future expansion.
As part of this upgrade, a new three-wire transmission line will be installed on the west side of the newly installed poles, along with dual overhead fiber optic cables (OPGW). Construction for this project is scheduled to begin in late 2025.
